About us
Having expanded briefly to three and half people the company is now back to a single solitary, and as such has meant a slight refocus. Whereas we were often trying to be all things to all winos there is now an emphasis on working with a number of dedicated customers, providing them with much communication and personalisation. The company is owned, managed and run by Richard Towers-Clark. He will be manning the shop in the Alps this winter, and when not doing so will doing all possible to expand the reach of the organisation across the Tarentaise valley. In the intervening months he is based in South Northants carrying on the good work........
Richard trained as an accountant for his sins but saw the light and after working his time in Meribel joined an independent fine wine wholesaler in London.
Financial constraints led to a sea change in career direction and joining Hitachi definitely broadened his outlook. However the wine and skiing bug returned and in 2005 he set up Au Tour Des Vins………. and the rest will hopefully be history!
